WHY NOT

Why not today?  Everytime I am hungry and want to eat more than one portion I say to myself “If I eat this now later I won’t eat as much.”  I really should not do that and I have decided if I truly want to lose weight that I have got to overcome that battle now.  I cannot put it off for later in the day because what happens later if I am hungry and can’t overcome the urge?  Why not right now make the decision to say NO - I have had my serving let’s wait until it settles and why not even find something to do to keep myself busy in the meantime.  Why not?  That works when I am worried or upset.  Surely by doing that each time that hungry urge does not sucumb I will be better off & see results more quickly -and then maybe I won’t be stuck asking why hasn’t my weight changed in 2 days?

    I do the same thing! It seems like you’ve got the right attitude. Just try to remember that miserable feeling of defeat you have after that second portion! Keep up the good work!!!

    Lately I hop on this site anythime I feel like eating Junk food (which is a lot) and afterwards I feel encouraged enough to find a healthy snack. (I will be going to the kitchen in a minute)
